SeSTA’s core belief is that young educated people with empathy towards the poor must work at the grassroots to alleviate poverty. For this SeSTA recruits young, passionate and meaningful people willing to bring a change in the lives of marginalized and disadvantages sections of the society. SeSTA has started a one year long Executive Traineeship programme to groom these young people into Development Professionals. The programme provides the conceptual, methodological and emotional skills for a unique progression from understanding the rural context and problematising the developmental issues therein to engaging with processes of change and transformation. The Executive Trainees can make an informed decision about career choice, have hands-on learning through exposure under the supervision and support of senior professionals designated as mentors and concretise the theoretical learning of the classroom.
Each year SeSTA recruits and grooms at least 10 professionals through campus placements and recruitment camps through a multi stage recruitment process.
Minimum Qualification: BE, B.Sc(Agri), BVSc, BFSc, MA, MSc, MSW, MBA having 55% (45% for SC/ST) marks in all exams.
